Online Counselling Across the UK

Therapy that fits around your life as is not always predictable.

Childcare can suddenly change. You might become unwell, experience side effects from medication, be called into an unexpected meeting at work, or simply have a day when leaving the house feels much harder than usual.

Since the pandemic, many people have also found themselves dealing with new challenges around anxiety, social anxiety, isolation and relationships.

For some, alcohol consumption increased or relationships became strained or broke down. Others have found themselves living with difficulties that began during, or were made worse by, the pandemic.

For some people, those difficulties are still very much part of their lives today.

There are also people living with ME/CFS, long-term health conditions, chronic pain, fatigue or disability, for whom travelling to regular appointments can be difficult or exhausting.

Sometimes, getting to a counselling room can feel like one more thing to manage when life already feels overwhelming.

Online therapy gives you another option

You can work with me from a private space where you feel safe and comfortable, without having to travel to Winchester.

Sessions can be accessed using a laptop, tablet or smartphone, giving you greater flexibility over where you have your therapy.

For some people, removing the journey is what makes therapy possible.

Online Therapy

A flexible approach

For most people, therapy is simply about having the opportunity to talk openly with someone who listens without judgement, from somewhere you feel comfortable.

You don't need to prepare what you're going to say or know exactly what you want to work on. We can take things at your pace and work together to understand what would feel helpful for you.

Where it feels useful, we can also use drawing, images or visualisation. These are simply additional options — talking remains at the heart of the therapy.

EMDR online

If you're experiencing trauma, PTSD or distressing experiences that continue to affect you, EMDR may be something we consider.

EMDR can be delivered remotely using secure bilateral stimulation, allowing us to work together through the different stages without you needing to travel to my practice in Winchester.

We'll always consider whether this way of working feels right for you before beginning EMDR.

Online Counselling

Online therapy across the UK

Perhaps you've been thinking about therapy for a while but haven't felt able to make the journey.

Perhaps you're anxious about walking into a counselling room. Your health, disability, work or family circumstances may make regular travel difficult. Or perhaps you simply feel more comfortable talking from your own space.

You don't have to overcome another obstacle just to access therapy.

You can take that first step from somewhere you already feel safe.

Although my counselling practice is based in central Winchester, I work with clients across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

You don't have to choose a therapist simply because they're close to where you live. You can choose someone because you feel comfortable with them, their experience fits what you're looking for, and their way of working feels right for you.

Whether you're looking for help with addiction, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, mental health or relationships, you can access therapy from wherever you are in the UK
