Structured Counselling
The aim of structed counselling is to focus on a certain presenting concern or issue, such as anxiety. This can be a single session of counselling or six weekly sessions of counselling
Six week structured counselling is opportunity to explore concerns or issues using a goal setting approach. This could be an opportunity for clients to focus on their mental health and address their anxiety and stresses that are preventing them from moving forward with their life.
One of the ideas of Single session counselling is that a client will no what they want from the session.
An example of this could be to understand where a persons anxiety comes from. This can be really powerful as it gives a client an opportunity to view life from a different lens and identify any potential triggers.
The single session will last 90 minutes and give you an idea of what maybe resolved.
